All my photos and sound recordings are Copyright. My stipulation generally is the 'Creative Commons Non-Commercial' licence, which allows most but not all fair non-commercial use.

If you wish to purchase a license to use any of my photos, please message me from Flickr or this site's Contact page, with url(s) of the respective individual photo page(s) at Flickr.

If you wish to purchase a licence for a specific commercial use of any of my sound recordings, please contact me directly. Please note that I'm fed up with people contacting me from Freesound, wanting to use my recordings free of charge for commercial projects (usually with a promise of an attribution and a lot of 'exposure' for my work*). That shows an irresponsible and disreputable outlook, and I don't want dealings with such people; they have NO permission from me to use my work.

For genuine non-commercial non-governmental organisations for conservation of wildlife or nature, promoting walking / hiking and certain other healthy non-competitive outdoor activities, and also some other charitable organisations that I wish to support, high-resolution copies of the photos are FREE, but I'm not offering a general waiver to all charities. Such organisations would need to contact me directly from this site in order to make their requests.

I also give due notice here that I do NOT support religious or 'spirituality' organisations, for reasons that are made apparent in my Clarity of Being site — so they are not included in my fee waiver — and in certain cases I would refuse a licence altogether.

Similarly, if I considered a particular commercial undertaking to be unethical in some material way (e.g., the tobacco, alcoholic drinks and cosmetics industries), then I would refuse a licence and happily do without their contaminated cash.
